Truth as Liberation

You have probably heard, from many directions, that 2025 will uncover many hidden truths. Things (or people or institutions) that we really believed in and trusted will be uncovered as not at all what they appear. Sounds ominous. What is about to happen is just what needs to happen, and the real question is… how will you take it? Will you be devastated and depressed? Will you be full of I-told-you-so? Or will you giggle at how weird it is that you ever believed the lie? I vote for the last one.

It doesn’t matter who is leading your country right now. All sides are about to fall. Why? Because we are moving from external leadership to internal guidance. This fall will include religion and money, for the same reason. Divinity is within, as is prosperity. Humanity is developing its own internal moral compass, and any outer options just won’t do anymore. All this truth hitting the fan will help us to see where we chose to listen to an external voice, while ignoring our intuition. It’s okay to come back to your center.

We have all been hoodwinked on some level. The conditioning has been intense on this planet! I’ve managed to escape much of it due to my odd and open childhood, but there were still some areas I got totally wrong because I tried to conform to a social norm rather than be true to myself. We have now made it to that point in history where being true to ourselves is the smoothest path forward. Yay!

Being true to yourself is the opposite of being selfish. Being selfish is all about outer gratification and throwing blame at others. Being true to yourself is about self-love. Look at ending a romance… Selfish looks like, “You don’t make me happy, so this is all your fault!” Being true to yourself looks like, “I can’t be myself in this relationship, and I love us both too much to keep hurting us.” Selfish is dramatic, self-love is quiet.

Focus on your own self-love and this period will be easier. Think of truth as liberation and this next couple of years will be quite fun. Anytime you are dragged into suffering figure out what old stories you are holding on to. Holding on to old stories (lies) will be the root of our suffering. Knowledge is acquiring information, wisdom is releasing information. Be wise enough to let it go.

Fun fact… we assume we care for what we love. It’s actually the other way around – we love what we care for. The more time and energy you give to something, the more it feels like love. If you have spent time caring for anything (even an abusive mate or abusive belief system) you are likely to feel a great loss when you are free from that role. This is natural. It’s perfectly okay to grieve and release anything that no longer serves your personal self-love. This is all part of our moving from outer stimulus to the internal compass.

Things will really heat up from mid-March through September. I feel a little break in July, but that may just be exhaustion. Remember to keep returning to your breath whenever you feel off-center. We were built for this!
